About the Club
The Big Sky Tracking Dog Club of Montana was established in 1998. We are a not for profit organization and our primary goal is to bring the joy of tracking to Montana. Our mission statement includes the following objectives:
Annual Membership Fee - $20 Individual, $30 Family, $5 Junior - application below
- Disseminate knowledge regarding tracking, scent work, obedience, rally, agility and other AKC companion and/or performance events
- Conduct classes, seminars and/or workshops for the training of dogs and handlers
- Encourage the training of judges
- Hold and support all events for which the club is eligible under the Rules and Regulations of The American Kennel Club including but not limited to tracking, scent work, obedience, rally and agility
- Promote cooperation and good sportsmanship among its members in the training and exhibition of dogs
- Promote the training of purebred dogs
